Truls's bracelet for David

The colors in my bracelet—baby blue, turquoise, and pink—symbolize hope, strength, and courage. They symbolize everything I wanted to give David when he received his cancer diagnosis. I wanted to be the friend he could lean on when life was stormy. I wanted to see him smile. I wanted him to live.

When you look down at your bracelet, I hope you feel strong and dare to be the one who stays. That you feel you are making a difference for young adults with and close to cancer. You are, thank you."
