I was 25 years old and had been ill for a year and four months, while struggling to be taken seriously and get a proper examination. When I received my cancer diagnosis, thyroid cancer, in April 2023, I had a total of 26 tumors in my neck. My lecture is about the fight that young adults need to wage to be heard and taken seriously in healthcare.
