If you are between 16 and 35 years old and are close to someone who has, has had, or has died from cancer, you can become a member. Membership is always free, and so is access to support.

No. All support from Ung Cancer is free of charge for you as a member.

You can receive social, rehabilitative and financial support throughout your cancer journey – including mentoring, member meetups, a conversation partner, digital courses, exercise programs and financial support.

You are always welcome to contact us by email (medlem@ungcancer.se) or phone (010-707 96 70, option 2, Mon–Thu 09:00–12:00). We can also schedule a digital support call tailored to your situation.

A digital meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM, where you can learn more about the support available and how to apply. You can participate actively or just listen. Registration: linnea@ungcancer.se

A program where you are matched with a mentor who has personal experience of being a close relative of someone with cancer, and who can be there to offer compassionate support and conversation. The program starts twice a year (spring and autumn). You decide how and how often you communicate. You need to be over 18 years old to participate.

In-person meetings in various locations where you have the opportunity to meet others in similar situations, share experiences, and feel a sense of community – without any pressure to talk about cancer specifically.

You are paired with another member in a similar situation, for example, someone who also has a loved one with the same diagnosis or who lives in the same city. You decide how and how often you communicate. To sign up, contact: medlem@ungcancer.se

A free digital course for relatives about how to keep going in the long term when there is no clear end date. The course is self-paced and takes about 4–6 weeks to complete, and includes information, exercises, and stories from other relatives. Registration: medlem@ungcancer.se

A digital health program with modules in areas including strength, cardio and yoga, as well as lectures on diet, stress and motivation. You choose which modules you want to participate in. Free of charge. Registration: medlem@ungcancer.se

A six-week digital training and wellness program with lectures, individual coaching sessions, a personalized training plan, live classes, and a supportive group community. Offered at select times throughout the year.

As a close relative of a member, you can apply for financial support for:

• Rehabilitative activity. You choose a purpose: physical or other activity for up to 3,000 kronor.
• Counseling at Psykologpartners. You can apply for individual counseling or for couples/groups at any of the clinics in Sweden. Psykologpartners has a partnership with Ung Cancer. It is also possible to be granted financial support for counseling via Skype. Read more about Psykologpartners here. The support must be used within 18 months of approval.
• Counseling with another psychologist/therapist, you choose which one. The maximum amount is then 5,000 kronor.
  

No. You can turn to us regardless of where your loved one is in their cancer journey – at a new diagnosis, during treatment, afterwards, or if your loved one has passed away.
