Apply for a mentor

As a member of Ung Cancer, you now have the opportunity to be matched with an experienced older member who can offer support and perspective on their own cancer journey (whether they were affected themselves or are a loved one).

If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the program, please email our business development manager, Erik, at erikahlin@ungcancer.se

What does it mean to get a mentor:

As a participant in the mentorship program, you will receive support from an experienced member who has themselves gone through similar experiences on their cancer journey. It is peer-to-peer support that takes place digitally and on your terms.

You will be matched with a mentor based on your own situation – as someone affected or as a loved one. The mentor you are matched with is a volunteer and is bound by confidentiality.

To participate, you need to be over 18 years old.

Right now, the application period is closed. The next round of the program starts on September 21, 2026. Applications open on August 3, 2026, and close on September 6, 2026.
