Anna Hall

Anna Hall

My name is Anna, I am 30 years old and live in Stockholm. When my mother received her cancer diagnosis, it was clear that she probably would not live for even a year, but despite that, the availability of support from the healthcare system for relatives was virtually non-existent.

My lecture is about what it is like to be a young adult with ADHD and autism and to be close to someone with terminal cancer

My lecture will be about the rapid course of my mother's illness, the struggle of being a relative and survivor at the same time as being in the midst of life as a young adult, and how the lack of support affects a vulnerable person in life's greatest crisis.
